Update

So, we're planning on being finished in about a month. We've gotten all of our final paperwork into NVR, and will probably be locking in the rate next week. We'll be in NYC this week, and out of town off and on until it closes, so I will try to update as things happen. Looks like we are still on track to close February 15th! Yay!!
Since I posted last, drywall is completely finished, one coat of paint has been added and the ceiling has been painted, our tile in the master shower and tub has been put in, laminate has been added to the laundry room, downstairs bath, and guest bath upstairs, and all the cabinets have been installed. Looks like all we have left from Ryan is hardwood downstairs, carpet upstairs, tile in kitchen, morning room, and bathroom, granite installation, final paint coating, and accessory adding! While we were there last week, the workers were getting started on installing the rest of the tile. My father also spoke with the cabinet guy about installing extra cabinets for our laundry room.
There are still a few small things that need to be addressed, like loose hardy plank and some random mishaps in the roof, (we upgraded to the 30 yr. architectural shingles, so we want to make sure everything is put on correctly and perfectly), a few scrapes on the walls, and other minor cosmetic things, but we expect all of those to be addressed prior to closing. Here are some pictures of where we are:

    1. We chose the espresso cabinets as well, but chose Brixton Bone. I'm afraid it will be too light with the cab. Yours looks beautiful!

    2. I actually wish we had gone a little bit lighter, and I think light/dark is an amazing contrast, so I'm sure it will look great!

  6. Sigh, I didn't realize I have to upgrade for architectural shingles. Do you recall how much that costs to add? I'm hoping we start my Verona build in the next couple of weeks! I think I make option changes in my head about every 2 hours.
